Clinical Consequences of Atheromatous plaques include:
* Occlusion
* Vessel rupture
* Aneurysmal dissection
Distribution of atheromatous plaques:
- Lower descending aorta {ostia of the major branches}
- First 3 inches of coronary arteries
- Descending aorta
- Internal carotids
- Circle of Willis
- Leg arteries
